The spirit: Appointer is for legitimate service businesses booking real customers for real services. Don't use it for spam, fraud, or anything illegal.
2. What you must not do
- Send unsolicited messages to people who haven't agreed to hear from you.
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or anything that harms recipients.
- Operate a business that's illegal in your jurisdiction or ours, or that requires licenses you don't hold.
- Misrepresent your identity, business, or services.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or break into Appointer or other tenants' data.
3. SMS / email rules
Reminders and retention messages may only go to clients who have a relationship with you — a booking, an inquiry, or an explicit opt-in. No cold outreach. No purchased lists.
You must honour opt-outs immediately: SMS recipients can reply STOP, and anyone who asks to stop receiving your messages must not be messaged again. SMS win-backs are only sent to clients who have explicitly opted in.
4. Reporting abuse
If you've received spam or abusive content from a business using Appointer, report it via our contact page with the message and any context. We investigate every report promptly — typically within one business day.
5. Enforcement
Violations result in a written warning, suspension, or permanent termination depending on severity. We'll always give you a chance to fix unintentional violations; we'll terminate immediately for fraud, illegal activity, or repeated abuse.
